Creating a Project
A project is basically a website. Each one gets its own subdomain, file storage, SEO score, and analytics.
How to create one
- 1.Go to Projects in your dashboard and click New Project.
- 2.Give it a name — this is just for you to recognize it. Something like "Portfolio" or "Client Landing Page".
- 3.Pick a subdomain. This is what people type in the browser —
my-portfolio.ezyhost.site. Keep it short, lowercase, and use hyphens instead of spaces. - 4.Optionally, upload files right away. You can also do this later from the project page.
Project settings
When creating or editing a project, you'll see a few extra options:
Display Mode
Standard shows your site normally. Presentation mode shows a nice file browser — great if you're sharing a collection of PDFs or images rather than a website.
Password Protection
Set a password and visitors will need to enter it before seeing your site. Useful for client previews or private content.
Hide from Search Engines
Adds a noindex tag so Google and other search engines won't list your site. Good for staging or test projects.
Project limits
How many projects you can have depends on your plan. The free plan gives you 1 project with 10 MB of storage. If you need more, check out the paid plans on the billing page — they start at $5/month.
Tip: You can delete old projects to free up your project slots without needing to upgrade.
